Who We Are/after school club

PlaytimeXtra is a non-profit, Community Interest Company, passionate about giving children the opportunity to 'unplug and play'. With fewer opportunities to play outside, we aim to create the 'new street' where children learn to play independently, away from overly directed adult activities and gaming stations!

Rob & Lesley, have 25 years experience in education and childcare. Rob has been a Head of Physical Education, PE advisor to junior schools and has currently completed a major part of his research for his Educational Masters Degree in 'The benefits of free play'. Lesley has been a Foster Carer, Learning Support Assistant with particular experience in SENCO and behavioural support.

We are CSSIW registered and our staff are fully qualified and compliant to work with children.
